Many perspectives on your sound. One window.
A customizable all-in-one metering plugin: 12+ modules covering everything from levels and loudness to dynamic range, spectrogram and stereo image. An overview for producing, mixing and mastering – without juggling several analysis plugins.
Screenshots to follow. This space will show the AOSS Meter interface.
Several analysis plugins used to share the space on my second monitor. Their displays were useful; managing them was less so.
Windows shifted around, scaled oddly or overlapped. Instead of simply looking at the meters, I kept having to rearrange them.
The solutions I knew from major manufacturers were technically good, but their controls and presentation often felt dated or too inflexible for my workflow.
That's how AOSS Meter came about.
In the existing development version, I arrange the working modules in one shared plugin window to suit the task at hand. Levels, loudness, frequency distribution, dynamics and spatial properties can be viewed from different perspectives.
I already use and test the plugin in my production work and actively develop it further. Multi-channel analysis via sidechain and matrix routing is in progress; additional modules are possible future extensions.
AOSS Meter will be released as donationware: free to use, with voluntary donations to support development.

One shared window instead of individually managed analysis plugins.

Multi-channel analysis with targeted signal assignment via sidechain and matrix routing, within one plugin window.
For more complex setups; single-source analysis remains independently usable.
Born out of my production work, designed for different workflows:
Music production, mixing, mastering, dialogue editing or audio work in video projects.
Not yet. I already use and test a working development version myself.
I'm aiming for a first public version, at least as an open beta, before the end of 2026.
The scope and a fixed date are not settled yet.

Yes. All modules can be used at the same time.
Whether you can see them all at once depends on the size of the plugin window and your screen, as well as the module arrangement. You can also select only the displays you need right now.
Presets help you switch quickly between different views.
Multi-channel analysis with signal assignment via sidechain and matrix routing is in progress.
It will be an optional extension; you can already analyze a single source with the existing modules.
Supported operating systems, plugin formats and system requirements will be listed once the release scope is settled.
AOSS stands for Aleks' One-Stop-Shop – the idea of bringing different analysis tools together in one place.
AOSS Meter is still a working title. Unless there's a reason to change it, the name will probably stay.
