Room design
Development goal
Shape and materials are intended to determine the acoustic character of a room you design yourself.
Early development · Page draft
A room of your own for your tracks.
Shape, materials, instruments and microphones are intended to determine the sound. RoomDesigner is being designed to turn that scene into custom room IRs and a shared acoustic space for separately recorded tracks.
Screenshots to follow. This space will show the RoomDesigner interface.
RoomDesigner has two sides: design a room to use its reverb, or place several instruments and microphones inside it, as in a real recording session.
The tracks are not simply intended to receive the same reverb. Mic bleed is also part of the planned scene, giving separately recorded material a sense of having shared the same room.
The project is still in an early development phase. This page initially presents the idea; screenshots, technical details and sound examples will follow.

Alongside the room sound, mic bleed is part of the design. This is intended to place separately recorded tracks in a shared acoustic scene. It is a development goal, not an already available feature.
